WHY INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING IN YOUR BUSINESS
Building regulations demand by legislation that thresholds for hi–low temperatures are met and maintained in accordance with the Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act 1963, and the health, safety and welfare of employees (general provisions).
Sections 4 to 16 are defined by general broad requirements for safe and healthy workplace working conditions. Section 6 and 7 relate to temperature and ventilation.
Buildings with opening windows can still be a major problem without a good stream of natural ventilation, and the other main concern is always traffic fumes and noise pollution, therefore ducted mechanical ventilation would always be a far superior option.
Air-conditioning answers and solves all these problems utilising thermostatically digitally controlled cooling and heat-pump heating systems, as well as heat recovery ventilation, whereby up to 90% – and more in some cases – of extracted cooling/heat energy from the building is recovered and returned to the building, offering massive energy savings
